ARTIST STATEMENT:

A light that shines within, shines with out.  My work explores the effects of light reflected on, and through, various natural environments: A Rocky Mountain river, a retreating prairie storm, a Pacific tidal pool, waves on a Great Lake... The brilliance of the surface draws us in.  As with people, it is the reaction to the light reflected within that we respond to, andholds us there.
